Mission & Vision

About Us

Government ICT Officers Forum is a registered professional association representing approximately 2,000 First-Class Gazetted ICT Officers serving in various Ministries, Divisions, Directorates, Departments of the Government of Bangladesh, as well as government offices at the district and Upazilas. These officers have been recruited through recommendations of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).

Vision

To establish a professional, innovative, skilled, and united platform for Government ICT Officers that will play a leading role in ensuring technology-driven governance, citizen-centric and transparent public service delivery, and smart, sustainable national development.

Mission

  • To protect and promote the professional dignity, rights, interests, and welfare of Government ICT Officers.
  • To enhance the technical, managerial, and leadership capacities of ICT professionals serving in government organizations.
  • To support the implementation of digital governance initiatives through innovation, research, collaboration, and policy advocacy.
  • To encourage the effective use of Information and Communication Technology for ensuring transparency, accountability, efficiency, and improved public service delivery.
  • To establish strong professional networking, coordination, and knowledge-sharing among Government ICT Officers across Bangladesh.
  • To contribute constructively to ICT-related policy formulation, institutional reforms, and sustainable digital development.
  • To organize training, seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional development programs for members.
  • To uphold ethical values, integrity, professionalism, and a service-oriented culture in the government ICT sector.
  • To represent the collective interests of Government ICT Officers before relevant authorities and stakeholders.
  • To contribute towards achieving the national vision of Smart Bangladesh through secure, innovative, and inclusive technology solutions.
